With the decline of the severe effects of the pandemic we have seen a strong return to activity in the Bicknacre Memorial Village Hall, a key asset for the local community and the outlying villages.  We are planning a number of changes to our village hall including…

Heating: an external Heating Company has been selected to work with the School and Bicknacre Village Hall in the short term whilst giving us time to review longer term heating solutions;

Website and Bookings: we are looking at ways of updating the current website to improve and streamline on-line  bookings for all hirers;

Access Improvements: going forward there will be a project to improve disabled access involving working with Essex County Council to install similar disabled access arrangements to those enjoyed by the School.

Bicknacre Memorial Village Hall is well appointed on the inside and is in a lovely setting being beside Priory Fields, providing 39 acres of green space for community use, and the Priory Arch, which is the emblem of our village.  BMVH is attached to Priory Primary School making it very easy to find.
